Meet Dr. Weichel

Patient Focused.

Dr. Renée Weichel's interest in dentistry began as a child, as she spent a lot of her childhood growing up in the Air Force where her father was a dental Officer. Dr. Weichel graduated from the OHSU School of Dentistry in 1994. Prior to dental school, Dr. Weichel attended University of Oregon and received a Bachelor's degree in General Sciences. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Weichel was accepted into a General Practice Residency at Michael Reese Hospital in Chicago, IL. There she became proficient at hospital and emergency room dentistry. She remained in Chicago as an Associate Dentist until 1998 when she returned to the Portland area.

After her move back to Portland, she practiced as an Associate in a large group practice in Lake Oswego until 2007. At that time, Dr. Weichel finally attained her professional goal of starting her own practice, and has been very happy getting to know her Tualatin community and growing her business.

Community Minded.

Dr. Renée Weichel is the Past President of the Clackamas County Dental Society, and has also served as President, Vice President, and Secretary/Treasurer. She has worked as a mentor for OHSU dental students, and has volunteered her time as Representative Delegate for her component dental society.

Volunteering in the community is important to Dr. Weichel, and she has volunteered for Give Kids A Smile and Tigard Compassion Clinic each year. She has volunteered in the Tigard Tualatin School District since her kids have been in school.

When not at the office, Dr. Renée Weichel enjoys walking her therapy schnauzer, trips to the Oregon Coast, and traveling in general.
